E Jane Hunter

Jane Hunter lives in Toronto and attended the Ontario College of Art and Design.  In 1980, she was elected a member of The Ontario Society of Artists and became a member of The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour in 1995. She received awards for her work from the C.S.P.W.C. in 1995, 1999, 2002 and 2007.  In 2000, one of her paintings was chosen by the C.S.P.W.C. to be included in a presentation of works to the Queen's Royal Collection at Windsor Castle, England.

In 2003, one of Jane's street scenes was chosen as the primary image on publicity posters for the historical exhibition, "Toronto, Place of Meeting" in the TD Gallery, at the Toronto Reference Library, Ontario, Canada.

Jane's work can be seen at John A. Libby Fine Art in Toronto, where she has been represented since 2005.

Her paintings are in many private collections, the corporate collection of Texaco Canada, the Toronto Reference Library Archives, the City of Toronto Archives, the Art Gallery of Peterborough Permanent Collection, and the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle.
